The school, which was started in June 2004 with 17 students and 2 teachers, was named Society Day school. On December 9^th 2009 the school was renamed SHASHI DHAN DAY SCHOOL(SDDS). Today with the support of the management, parents and dedicated work done by the director, the school is a family with over 900 students and a staff of 72 members.

The location of the Day school is SURESH SHETH VIDHYA SANKUL, near the urban bank hospital, which is in a developing area of Dahod Town.
