Rules & Regulations For School

RULES AND REGULATIONS OF SCHOOL:

  • Punctuality and regularity in attendance is essential. Students who have been absent the previous day must bring a note of explanation through ‘Record of Non-attendance’ page of the almanac without fail. In case of illness a Medical Certificate should also be sent. Students who expect to reach home late after the school due to personal reasons must inform their parents/guardians in advance.
  • Entry into school premises is not permitted before 7:30 a.m. Late arrival will be permitted between 7:50 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., only 3 times in a month.
  • . A minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory to be eligible to appear in the examination.
  • Students must come to school in neatly laundered uniform and polished shoes. The hair should be trimmed and the nails must be cut regularly. Girls with long hair should make plaits. Skirts should be worn Knee-length.
  • Students are not allowed to use school phones without permission.
  • Respect for school property and school belongings is an absolute must.
  • In the event of collective damage to school property in class room, the entire class will be charged the cost of damage. A vigilant outlook should be maintained towards keeping the surroundings clean. All waste papers should be picked up and thrown into the dustbin.
  • Students are not allowed to leave the class without class out-pass and without permission of the teacher. While moving in between the classes in the corridors and while using the staircases all must keep to the left. Students should move in a way that no child is disturbed.
  • A student must speak in decent language all the time. He must ensure that his speech is courteous and polite.
  • Every student is required to carry the school identity card each day of the school.
  • Students are expected to bring the books according to the time-table.
  • Students are not allowed to receive private tuitions from the teachers of the school.
  • Any communication sent in the school almanac must be acknowledged by the parent/guardian.
  • While taking the examination every scholar should do so with utmost honesty.
  • English is second language for most of us, but it is also a medium of instruction. In order to acquire proficiency in spoken English, all students must compulsorily converse in English in school (and at home as far as possible).
  • A student must extend due courtesy and respect to all members of staff. Respect of elders and affection for juniors should be soundly inculcated. Every child is expected to uphold the name & honor of the school.
  • Cheering and clapping are allowed on playground at appropriate times.
  • Students must report any incident of bullying and ragging to the teachers immediately.
  • Do leave the areas in school in a better condition and state of cleanliness after use.
  • Take good care of school properties and premises. Cost of replacement for vandalized items will be borne by student(s) responsible for the damage.
  • Maintain highest standards of cleanliness at all times on the school premises. Cleanliness includes the maintenance of the immediate surrounding areas.
  • Food and all sweet drinks are to be consumed only in the canteen. All cutleries and trays must be returned to designated receptacles and litter disposed into the rubbish bins.
  • No use of Mobile phones permitted.

 

MEDICAL AID

  • A comprehensive annual medical checkup of each child is done by qualified doctors to monitor the child’s physical growth.
  • First aid treatment is given in case of accidents and emergencies.
  • Parents are informed immediately and may be intimated to take their ward home.
  • While the school assures all possible precautions and care, the school management will not be responsible for any adverse consequences.

 

LIBRARY RULES

  • All students of the school are members of the library.
  • Strict discipline and silence should be observed in the library.
  • Library books should be taken care of and returned on the due date.
  • Marking, underlining, writing or damaging pages of the books are strictly prohibited.
  • A clearance certificate is to be obtained from the librarian before applying for Transfer Certificate.

 

 

WITHDRAWAL

  • Every application for withdrawal of admission and issue of Transfer Certificate should be made in writing by the respective parent/guardian.
  • Three month’s written notice is mandatory before a student can be withdrawn from the School; in lieu of such notice, full fee for three months will be applicable and charged.

Note: Three month’s written notice is mandatory even at the commencement of a new academic year. For sake of clarity, the following cases can be considered:

  • If a parent/guardian needs withdrawal from the School on 31st March of a particular year, then the notice of withdrawal shall be given on or before 1st Jan of the same year.
  • If the notice of withdrawal is given on 31st March of a particular year, then full fee (except Lunch Fee and Refreshment Fee), shall be applicable and charged until 30th Jun of the same year.
  • If the notice of withdrawal is given on 1st February of a particular year, then full fee (except Lunch Fee and Refreshment Fee), shall be applicable and charged until 30th April of the same year (two months of Full Fee of the class the student would be studying at the time of the withdrawal notice and one month Full Fee as applicable for the next academic year).
  • No Transfer Certificate will be granted unless all the School dues are paid and ‘No Dues’ certificate is obtained from the cashier/librarian/laboratory assistant and respective teachers.
  • In all cases of re-admission, full Admission Fee will be charged.
  • Transfer Certificate can be obtained after one week from the date of fulfilling all formalities and submission of the application form in the School office.
